How Ratifyly collects texting consent

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Ratifyly texts only people involved in a real estate transaction on the Ratifyly platform, and every recipient gives express written consent before any message is sent. Both consent screens sit inside a signed-in account, so each one is reproduced below exactly as the person sees it. For the full program terms, see SMS program terms.

Clients (buyers and sellers)

A buyer or seller reaches the portal setup form from a one-time link emailed to them when their agent or brokerage adds them to a transaction. The mobile number field is optional, and the consent checkbox is never pre-checked and never required. Setup completes whether or not it is ticked.

Mobile number (optional)

Text me updates about this transaction. By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages from Ratifyly about this transaction: status updates, deadline reminders, and replies to questions you text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Mobile phone numbers and texting opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. How texting works.

Agents and brokers

An agent or broker opts in from their own account settings, in the profile section. The box starts unchecked on every visit and is never a mirror of a prior choice, so saving the page with it unticked never silently re-enrolls anyone and never silently opts anyone out.

Mobile number (optional)

What is recorded

Ticking either box writes a consent record against the mobile number entered in that form, stamped with the time and the screen the consent came from. Consent attaches to the phone number itself, so an opt-out silences every message Ratifyly would otherwise send to that number. Typing a number without ticking the box records nothing: the checkbox is the consent, never the field.

Stopping messages

Replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT ends messages to that number immediately and the opt-out is logged the moment it arrives. Replying HELP or INFO returns program help. Replying START or UNSTOP resumes messages. No marketing content is sent through this program at any time.
